The Hand-Up Program is our way of providing support to women and their children from war torn countries in Africa an opportunity to get employment, education and other services so they can survive in this country. We see women who have nothibg but their children and the few resources such as clothing that they arrive in America wearing. Our goal is to help them get started in nursing as nursing assistants so that they can be employed after learning English. We assist these mothers with child care and a myriad of rules related to parenting, schools, faith and American cultural practicies acquisition. We need volunteers as well as funding for these activities.  We thak you for your love and support
